A short distance away from Mission Peak Regional Preserve, Mission Coffee Roasting Company will satisfy your coffee fix after the beautiful hike up to Mission Peak.
Mission Coffee Roasting Company not only serves handcrafted coffee, but they also have pastries, hot breakfast and lunch available.

We arrived at this lovely local coffee spot on a Sunday morning, after hiking up Mission Peak at around 10:30 in the morning. We were super hungry and needed coffee STAT.

Inside decor reminds you of a local cafe, with historical details of the location which was originally a hardware store. Inside seating consists of large tables that can accommodate a big group and high tops for 2. They have an old coffee roaster and decoration sacks of coffee beans on display. The seating area is open seating – just find an open spot and have a seat, and there’s plenty of it. They have a homely aesthetic with bookshelves and knick knacks placed around the shop.

About 5 minutes of waiting in lineafter we got our order in, we got our coffees. One thing to keep in mind, their espresso is not the strongest out there, but it’s definitely aromatic. We got a latte and a caramel macchiato. The espresso is definitely on the lighter side, but that’s not necessary a bad thing, just something to keep in mind. The pastries were fresh and delicious. We tried a leek potato pie and apple turnover. Both were flaky and delicious definitely repeatable.
Overall, Mission Coffee Roasting Company is a great place to get coffee if you are in the Mission Peak area. Looks like a great brunch spot to try out next time we go back.
