Soul Grind Coffee Roasters – A Laid Back Brunch Spot By The Beach

A mini-vacation only minutes away from the city

Over the weekend, we wanted to try out a new coffee spot, and we decided to try out Soul Grind Coffee at Pacifica, CA. Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, we’ve only gone to Pacifica only a handful of times, and since we where visiting relatives on the peninsula, it was a perfect opportunity. After a quick 15 minutes drive from the city, we arrived. Parking lot is shared with surfers and beachgoers. We highly recommend arriving there early to find a parking spot.

A relaxing brunch by the beach

Soul Grind Coffee has both indoor and outdoor spaces. Because our pooch came with us, we sat at the outdoor dining area. Soul Grind offers a variety of food and beverage options. Everything from a breakfast bowl to quiche; there will be something for everyone. Unsure what you want? They have one of everything on display so you know exactly what you’re getting. We had trouble picking out what we wanted because everything looked so delicious.

We grabbed ourselves a seat after we ordered out food and coffee, which quickly came to our table. Despite the speed, everything were freshly made. We got a lox bagel and some waffles. Honestly, we wish we had brought a second and a third stomach. Once we had our first bites, we wanted to try everything else on the menu! The waffle was fluffy in the inside and a nice crunch for its outside shell. Lox bagel was balanced, not too salty from the salmon and had the good amount of cream cheese.

Great cup of coffee at an amazing atmosphere

Soul Grind offers various handcraft coffee too. They roast the coffee that they serve. We got both of their specialty drinks – Cubano and Cliffside. Glad to report, their coffee is good. The barista did a great job making our drinks. The coffee they serve definitely did not disappoint. Their coffee is on a lighter side, but it’s very aromatic. And as per usual, if you enjoy the coffee, consider buying a freshly roasted bag of beans.

Overall, we absolutely enjoyed our time at Soul Grind Coffee Roasters. It felt like you’re on a beach side vacation without having to travel far. The food is fresh and delicious. We can’t wait to go back!
