As October winds down, the need to push for training for the WDW Marathon 2026 Dopey Challenge continues. Since getting last minute training in is never a good idea, we really need to push on with our training. With October quickly coming to an end, there are really only 2 more months of solid training we can get in before January arrives.

With the temperature falling in the mornings, I also find myself having more stamina. (or I just like being cold haha). Also with the strategy of slowing down to a 10:30 min/mile is really helping! Either way, we have almost hit the 20 miles mark for longer runs. The original plan to run around 10 miles on Wednesday ended up being only 5 and some change due to my schedule.
Given that, we are inching closer and closer to race distances for the Dopey Challenge! Only 6 more miles on the long runs and we’ll be at a marathon distance. Though I’m 100% sure everyone runs 26.5+ on race day as noone runs a perfect course.
